THE FIRM
Built from experience. Not theory.
Forward Edge Advisory exists because of what we learned building a business from startup to nearly $100M in revenue—and what we wish we had known earlier.
Why Forward Edge exists.
Most business problems don't arrive without warning. They build slowly—in the culture, in the numbers, in the conversations that don't happen. By the time they're obvious, they're expensive.
Forward Edge was built on a simple observation: businesses usually tell you what's coming. The question is whether anyone is paying close enough attention to hear it.
We work with founders and CEOs who want an honest, experienced perspective on what their business is actually doing—not what the reports say it's doing. We help them see earlier, understand deeper, and build stronger.
THE FOUNDER
Forward Edge Founder
Founder & Principal Advisor
The founder of Forward Edge built and scaled a company from startup to nearly $100M in revenue—navigating growth, hiring, culture, private equity, acquisitions, and the full complexity of building a real business.
That experience—including the hard lessons—became the foundation for Forward Edge. The firm exists to give other leaders access to the kind of perspective that only comes from having been in the room.
Forward Edge is not a personality-driven advisory practice. It is being built into an institution of ideas, tools, diagnostics, and advisors—designed to outlast any single individual.
HOW WE WORK
The principles behind our work.
Clarity over comfort
We tell leaders what we see—not what they want to hear. Honest reflection is more valuable than reassurance.
Respect for the leader
We never talk down to the people we work with. They are intelligent, experienced, and capable. Our job is to add perspective, not to judge.
The business beneath the business
Revenue and profit tell part of the story. We look at what's underneath—culture, capacity, leadership, and the systems that determine whether growth is sustainable.
Foresight over reaction
The most valuable work happens before problems become crises. We help leaders act on early signals, not late consequences.
Restraint in our recommendations
We do not recommend change for its own sake. Every priority we identify is tied to a business outcome. We focus on what matters most.
Building something that lasts
Forward Edge is being built to become more than an advisory practice. We are developing the frameworks, tools, and thinking that help businesses become enduringly strong.
We've been in the room.
If you want a perspective built on real business experience—not theory—we'd like to talk.
